- With its fabulous views across London, Highgate has long been a destination for those who are creative and artistic and it has a real community vibe, with book clubs, festivals and other local events.
- You’ll find a library, outdoor heated swimming pool and a range of sports clubs, as well as many arts venues, concert halls and theatres including The Red Hedgehog, an intimate one hundred seat concert hall and Upstairs at the Gatehouse, an experimental theatre.
- On offer is an excellent selection of delicatessens, cosy cafes, restaurants and cool bars as well as a wide range of independent retailers.
- Don’t miss the historic Highgate Cemetery where England's most famous writers and philosophers are buried along with Karl Marx, the father of communism. Today, the cemetery is also deemed a nature reserve and a popular spot for walkers.
- Housing-wise, there are options for different price ranges here. For those who are on a budget, flats and lofts aren’t too over the top. Prices for family homes vary from affordable to outrageous!
- If green space is something that you covet, this area is perfect for you because it offers easy access to Waterlow Park, Highgate Wood, Queen’s Wood and the sprawling Hampstead Heath is nearby.
- With the City just 5.5 miles away transport links are quick and efficient. You can get to the West End in just 20 minutes on the Tube.
- Home Minders manage a large number of houses and flats in and around Highgate and understand the market there very well.
